Hairballs Animated Pilot-Directed by Mr. Lawrence and Craig Kellman

Hairballs was a pilot created at Film Roman. It’s co-directed by Lawrence and Craig Kellman, with character layouts by Kellman, Carey Yost and Mark Colangelo, and timing by Genndy Tartakovsky.

This is one of my favorite pilots ever--and it's a shame it never got a series order. These creators are animation geniuses!

  1. Wow, that's some gorgeous production values, and what a all-star lineup of crew members (anything with Tartakovsky, Lawrence and Kellman is a-OK in my book....).

Interesting that MTV should have expressed interest. It's hard to imagine it fitting in with any programming there—ever.
